Opening the evening was Phillip Phillips at 7:30pm. Although the setlist only contained six songs, the set lasted nearly 45-minutes. Phillips, who continues to tour in support of last year’s The World from the Side of the Moon, delivered a set containing his two hit singles “Gone, Gone, Gone” and “Home”, alongside a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and the upbeat “Get Up Get Down.”
