Get Your Tickets: Phillip Phillips Announces Fall Tour!

Last Tuesday, August 23rd, Phillip Phillips gave fans the news they have been waiting for for over two years: he’s finally going on tour!

The “Where We Came From” tour will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of his first album, The World From The Side of The Moon, which came out on November 12, 2012. The tour’s name makes reference to the song “Where We Came From” from the same album.

Phillip announced the tour via Instagram and Twitter, and said he will be accompanied by American Authors as “special guests.”

The 15-date tour will start in Fort Worth, TX on October 20 and close exactly a month later on November 19 in New Haven, CT with stops in Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, and Georgia, among others, along the way. No West Coast dates were announced.

Phillip’s last official tour was in January 2020. That tour, a month-long set of dates Phillip did with long-time collaborator Errol Cooney, ended in February 2020, just before the world and all our lives were changed forever by the pandemic. This means this outing is the first time fans will be able to follow Phillip for several dates in a row since the dark days of the pandemic.

In addition to playing songs from “The World From The Side of The Moon,” Phillip promised on his tour announcement to be “sneaking in a few new songs” as well.

Phillip has hinted numerous times he has been writing new music for the last two years. His last album, Collateral came out over four years ago on January 2018. He has also worked on a couple of collaborations (“Bring It On Home” with American Authors and Maddie Poppe and “Hold on to Your Love” with Walk Off the Earth) in the meantime and released his brand-new single “Love Like That.” The tour, therefore, may mean we will be finally getting a real preview of what is to come in 2023 in terms of new music. Exciting news indeed!

Tickets for the tour are now on sale. Please visit Phillip Phillips’official site to get your tickets.

Do Not Miss It, Phillip Phillips’ Magnetic Tour Starts Soon

It’s been just over a week since Phillip Phillips new album Collateral came out. And next Friday, February 9, Phillip will kick off his Magnetic Tour to celebrate the release and bring the new music to cities across the US.

Phillip will open his tour in Cherokee, NC, and then make stops in Charlotte, NC, two stops in Cambridge, MA and a stop in New York, NY on February 18. Phillip will then head south and play three shows in his home state of Georgia, as well as Nashville, TN and Charleston, NC. Shows in the West Coast include a Seattle, WA, Portland, OR and San Francisco and Los Angeles in California. To the joy of some lucky Canadian fans, Phillip will also visit Vancouver and Toronto north of the border.

This is Phillip’s first headlining tour since he co-headlined his 2016 tour with Matt Nathanson. This being a winter/spring tour, the venues include some great clubs and small theatres which promise to bring an intimate feel to the shows.

In addition, as he has been doing since last year’s tour with the Goo Goo Dolls, most tickets include a VIP option which provides fans in each city the opportunity to enjoy a short acoustic pre-concert performance, a meet and greet with Phillip and many other great memorabilia.

Joining Phillip on the tour are two amazing bands that are sure to elevate the shows to a new level. Nashville duo the Striking Matches will open for Phillip during the first leg of the tour, and The Ballroom Thieves from Boston, MA will joint Phillip the remainder of the tour. The tour dates tour will go from February 9 to April 14, with a last show in Chattanooga, TN.

In the last six years Phillip has played with an incredible number of musicians on tour. It will be a surprise to see who will be joining Phillip this time. We know that whoever it is will be excellent, though we are hoping to see some familiar faces.

Some shows are already sold out, so don’t wait, get your tickets to see Phillip on his Magnetic Tour now!

Phillip Phillips’ Canadian Tour – The Venues

Phillip Phillips’ Canadian Tour is only three weeks away. Needless to say, excitement is mounting, and not only for Canadian fans.

With a new album on the works, the Canadian tour could very well coincide with exciting news about a possible release date, or even more amazing, the actual release of a brand new single. This may be wishful thinking from us, but would not be out of character; so far Phillip has always found ways to surprise fans with unannounced album releases (iTunes Session), and impromptu performances of new, unreleased songs. One thing is for sure, Phillip’s first Canadian tour will be unforgettable for all Canadian fans, those that have been following him since the beginning and the new ones he’ll create along the way. We will celebrate this very special tour by following Phillip and his band from their first show in Halifax, Nova Scotia in the East Coast, all the way to Vancouver, on the Pacific coast.

During the tour, Phillip will play some beautiful venues across the country, but will also make a stop at historical Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, IL in the US. Take a closer look at the tour dates, cities and venues below.

John Mayer Joins Phillip Phillips On Stage In Baltimore

It was the moment many Phillip Phillips fans had been waiting for since the tour started, and it happened a couple of nights ago in Baltimore, MD, when John Mayer joined Phillip and the band to play a beautiful cover of Eric Clapton’s “Old Love.”

Phillip has covered “Old Love” many times before, but the song had not made an appearance at any of his recent shows. John Mayer has also covered the song before, so this made it a perfect fit for the special performance. As there remain only two more dates on the Born And Raised tour, fans can only hope that this collaboration won’t be the last.

Check out the amazing performance below and take a look at beautiful pictures of the moment as captured by a fan.

Phillip Phillips At The Q Lounge and FM 100 Memphis

Phillip Phillips‘ tour in support of John Mayer continues. His latest stop was  in Memphis, TN, where he visited the Q Lounge at Q 107.5 Radio and FM 100 Memphis. He used the opportunity to continue to promote Where We Came From, the third single from his debut album.

Never one to play a song the same way twice, Phillip jammed out with his guitar player Errol Cooney while casually sitting on the Q Lounge couch. He also played a couple of songs and did a short interview at FM 100 Memphis.

Check out the photos and the amazing performance at the Q Lounge below. And then check his interview and performance at FM 100 Memphis.
