Phillip Opens Fall Tour With Beautiful Show At West Point

Phillip Phillips is back on the road. Last Friday he opened the fall leg of his Behind the Light tour with a very special show at West Point military academy in New York. The show was open to students of the academy but also to the general public. As usual, Phillip and the band were in great form, playing a set interspersed with cool intros and solos from beginning to end. A new special addition to the set was a cover of “Can’t Find My Way Home” that Phillip played before launching into “Fly.”

The show at West Point was the first of Phillip’s extensive fall tour, which includes over 35 dates across the US, including shows as far as Washington state, Montana and Idaho. By the end of this tour Phillip will have effectively spent the majority of the year on the road, with only a few small breaks in between his Canadian tour in March, his summer co-headlining tour with O.A.R. and this solo fall tour.
