The air has become cooler in the morning, the light is just a little lower in the sky, and the days are getting shorter. Yes, summer is almost over, but you would not have noticed that last night at Phillip Phillips’ show at the Wolf Trap, in Vienna, Virginia where Phillip played another beautiful high energy show that not only set the heart of the fans in attendance on fire but left him soaked in sweat from head to toe.
There are only a few more shows left on the co-headlining tour with Gavin DeGraw, and Phillip and band have been mixing up the set list with new exciting covers (The Bee Gees’ Stayin Alive) and rarely played tracks from Phillip’s catalog. Last night the surprise was “Trigger,” from Behind the Light, a true fans’ favourite.
