Phillip Phillips’ summer tour made its way to Missoula, Montana last night. Phillip’ set list changes every night, so it’s always fun to try to guess what’ll be on any given night; there’s bound to be a surprise or two. Last night, it was the Missoula audience’s turn and Phillip gave them a huge surprise when he decided to debut his brand new song “Magnetic” with his full band. Before he launched into the song, he taught the audience how to sing along to the background vocals, and the results were as magical as the beautiful summer night.
The song, with its slow burning sexiness and super catchy chorus sounded perfect with great lush organ and horns, and Jason Thomas’ amazing drums.
