Phillip Phillips Plays New Song “Into the Wild” in Ravinia

Phillip Phillips and the band played in front of a packed Highland Park at the Ravinia Festival, in Illinois yesterday. Is not the first time Phillip has played at the historic festival — he performed there in 2014 during his tour with John Mayer — but it was his first playing yet another new song from his upcoming album!

The song, which he quietly introduced as “Into the Wild,” has Phillip back on acoustic guitar (he plays electric on both “Magnetic” and “Don’t Tell Me”) and a more gentler sound reminiscent of some of his earlier songs (“Hold On” comes to mind). Thankfully, an amazing fan was there to capture the moment:

Not only is the song beautiful, but last night’ set list featured three out of the four new songs Phillip has debuted so far – an amazing treat for anybody following Phillip’s career and music. Check out the full set list and some more great fan videos below!
