Phillip Phillips Helps Celebrate 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing

On July 20, 1969 the world changed forever when the astronauts from the Apollo 11 mission first stepped on the moon. Fifty years have passed but the wonder of this extraordinary event remains. To commemorate this momentous occasion, Space Centre Houston, the education and museum arm of the Johnson Space Centre (“Mission Control”), hosted numerous activities and a concert. Lucky for his fans, Phillip Phillips was invited to be part of this memorable show, followed by the band Walk the Moon.

Phillip Phillips Rocks Hensville Park

It’s been a quiet year for Phillip Phillips fans. But behind the scenes, Phillip has been busy working on new music and, best of all, dedicating some time to his family. After announcing earlier this month that he and Hannah are expecting a baby boy this fall (yay!!), Phillip was back on the road yesterday with a show at Hensville Park, in Toledo, OH, the first of a short string of shows he’ll be doing this summer.
