Phillip Phillips Brings Back Trio for Summer Shows

Last weekend, Phillip Phillips brought his trio back to the stage for a handful of shows celebrating summer and the slow opening up of the music industry after a year a half of lockdowns, social distancing, and virtual shows.

On Friday, August 6th, Phillip opened Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA, and then followed it up with a show on Saturday at the Ridgefield Playhouse, in Ridgefield, CT, and a show at a beautiful seaside venue in Great Neck, New York, on Sunday. For all three concerts, Phillip was accompanied by cellist Dave Eggar and guitarist Errol Cooney — the other two-thirds of the beloved trio.

At the end of the weekend, Phillip shared on Instagram how happy he was to be back on stage.
