Last night Phillip Phillip and band played a very special show for Bud Light’s One Night Only concert series. The show took place at the historic Beacon Theatre in New York, NY. The 2,600-seat theatre was built in 1929 and beautifully restored in 2009, hosting greats such as The Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and many others throughout its 90 year history.
Phillip Phillips previously performed an acoustic show at the Beacon Theatre in 2016 at Fresh Fall Fest. For this show, Phillip came back with his full band, Jeff Randall on drums, Evan Penza on guitar, Jared Jackson on bass and trumpet, and Elliott Blaufuss on keys, and gave a performance worthy of the revered venue.
Earlier in the day Phillip chatted with Ralphie Aversa of 95.5 PLJ ahead of the show. Phillip talked about his love for New York, his love of food, and also hinted at some exciting news coming up soon (we think (hope!) it’s a new video). Check out that interview below! And check out Phillip’s site for all his upcoming summer dates.
